By using Witch Terminal you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy notice.

Witch Terminal is a weekly training game for learning to read market data: you read end-of-day data, answer questions about it, seal a call on the S&P 500 and review how it turned out. No real money is involved and nothing is ever bought or sold for you.

Nothing in Witch Terminal is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. The lessons, reports, practice weeks, the mentor and the Coven describe data and teach how it is read; they do not predict the market. Do not make decisions about real money from it.

The data comes from public sources such as the Federal Reserve's FRED database, the US Treasury and official calendars, and from market data providers, at the end of each day. While an official index close is late, its jar may show an estimate worked out from a fund that tracks the index, marked as estimated. If the official S&P 500 close is late, a week may be judged on such an estimate, and a brew sealed while that close is late may open on one. A week judged this way keeps its verdict, even if the official close later differs slightly. The data is not live and can be late, missing or wrong, and a source can stop or change. We show the date of each value and do our best to keep it right, but we cannot promise that it is.

You can play as a guest without an account. To create one you must be at least 18. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time on your profile, and everything in it is deleted with it.

The weekly game and the lessons, quizzes and practice weeks are free. Arcana is a membership with extras on top of them, such as the Oracle's hints, the mentor's lesson in depth, the Coven's lean, the Mirror's habits, the weekly report by email and the full record. What each tier includes is shown on the Arcana page and in the Codex. Scoring is the same for everyone.

We may change what Free and Arcana include as the game grows. If a change takes away something you have paid for, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel.

Arcana is sold by Lemon Squeezy, our seller of record. When you buy it, you buy it from Lemon Squeezy under its terms, and it handles the payment, receipts and taxes. The plans are monthly at €9.99 a month and yearly at €79.99 a year, VAT included; the price and the billing period are shown again before you pay (see Arcana).

Every plan starts with a free trial of 30 days. You give a payment method at checkout, and nothing is charged until the trial ends; you are reminded by email before it does. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

A subscription renews until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your profile; Arcana then stays on until the end of the period already paid, and you are not charged again.

Refunds: within 14 days of your first payment, or of a yearly renewal, write to support@witchterminal.com and we refund that payment in full. Monthly renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have a right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, and the law of your country may give you further rights; none of these terms takes them away.

• Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits or security of the service.
• Do not copy the service's content or data in bulk, or use automated tools to play or scrape it.
• Notes you send with the raven must not be abusive or unlawful. A few a day can be sent.
• Do not use another person's account, or pretend to be someone else.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, after telling you why where we can.

The game, its text, art and design belong to us. Your brews, reasons, lessons and notes are yours. You let us store and use them to run the service for you, and to count your sealed brews, without your name, in the Coven's weekly totals. When you send us feedback, you let us use the idea to improve the terminal.

We work to keep Witch Terminal running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, change, or have mistakes in it. As far as the law allows, it is provided as it is, and we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on it, including any decision about real money. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. If a change matters, we will tell you on the site or by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria, without taking away any protection that the law of the country you live in gives you as a consumer. Questions or complaints: support@witchterminal.com.
